AGS Appoints Robert Blair as New Associate General Counsel

AGS has designated Robert Blair as their latest Associate General Counsel. Blair is transitioning from Aruze Gaming, where he functioned as the Worldwide General Counsel, to assume this fresh position.

For those unfamiliar, AGS is a prominent entity in the gaming realm, supplying slot machines, table games, and casino platforms.

Blair’s history is noteworthy. He occupied several vital roles at Aruze Gaming, encompassing Deputy General Counsel and Senior Global Intellectual Property Counsel. This transpired during a time of substantial transformation at Aruze as they divested portions of their enterprise, including an agreement with Interblock for electronic table games and a forthcoming sale of their slot machine operations to Play Synergy.

Prior to Aruze, Blair refined his legal capabilities as a patent lawyer at EIP and subsequently as Vice President of Patents at Unwired Planet.

Possessing over two decades of industry experience, Blair contributes a wealth of expertise to AGS. His proficiency encompasses financial planning, intellectual property agreements, litigation approaches, and patent portfolio administration.
