Betsson Appoints New Head of Affiliate Marketing Amidst Record-Breaking Quarter

Betsson Group has designated Triston Smook as their latest Head of Affiliate Marketing. Smook contributes almost twenty years of expertise within the iGaming sector to Betsson, having formerly held a business development position with the firm.

His mission will be to acquire new clients for Betsson’s collection of over 20 brands. His duties will encompass overseeing connections with affiliates and collaborators.

Smook’s selection follows a record-setting quarter for Betsson. The organization recently declared that their Q3 2022 earnings hit €200.3 million ($199.6 million).

The organization’s Chief Executive Officer, Pontus Lindwall, credited the robust results to expansion across all business units, especially sports wagering, which experienced a 45% surge in earnings.

Betsson is experiencing a surge of success! The company recently declared unprecedented income and operational earnings, driven by their flourishing sports wagering and internet gaming platforms. Furthermore, they are strategically positioning themselves to lead the sports betting technology landscape, acquiring a commanding 80% share of KickerTech – a shrewd purchase intended to bolster their services for other companies operating within the sports betting industry. This majority stake in KickerTech, obtained through a subsidiary belonging to TG Holdings Limited, cost them a substantial €14 million – a clear indicator of their ambitious goals.
