Betway has prolonged its enduring alliance with the Belgian football contest, the Croky Cup.
As part of the accord, Betway will maintain its brand visibility during all televised matches in the competition’s round of 32, in addition to extra branding in the final match.
Betway will also possess activation privileges across the channels of the Belgian Pro League, the top echelon of club football in Belgium.
Betway initially commenced supporting the Croky Cup in 2016, making it one of the company’s most enduring collaborations.
“The Belgian Pro League has been a superb partner for us for five years, and we are delighted to extend our partnership with the Croky Cup,” stated Betway CEO Anthony Werkman. “The cup has witnessed five distinct champions in the past five years and continues to be a thrilling competition in Belgian football.
“Although the last two finals were staged without spectators, we anticipate welcoming them back for the 2021-22 season.”
Leander Monbaliu, the Pro League’s Head of Commercial Operations, stated, “This delay demonstrates the robust and enduring alliance between Betway and the Pro League. The two entities have collaborated on the cup competition, and it has been remarkably successful. It’s a thrilling tournament, characterized by numerous underdog triumphs and unforeseen defeats. The final promises to be incredibly exciting.”
