BlueBet Appoints New Head of Marketing in Australia

BlueBet has brought on Thomas as their new head of marketing in Australia, bolstering their team down under.

Thomas will be in charge of BlueBet’s marketing strategy and operations in Australia.

Before joining BlueBet, Thomas spent the last three years advising Australian businesses through Wiseguy Communications and co-founded Fans.Inc in October 2021.

Before that, he spent over nine years at Nova as the chief marketing and digital officer and held the position of media and advertising manager at Coles Group.

He also served as marketing director at PepsiCo for nearly six years, vodka marketing manager at Diageo, and brand manager at Anchor Toby.

“BlueBet is in a thrilling period, experiencing strong growth in the market, and I look forward to assisting it in speeding up its growth plans, shaking up the market, and continuing to gain market share,” said Thomas.

The appointment follows BluBet’s strategic investment of A$500,000 in free-to-play sports gaming platform provider Low6 last month.

BlueBet stated that the investment will enable it to expand its own product offering into free-to-play gaming, as well as assist with customer onboarding and engagement.
